Sorry Northstar - I personally can't help you with your search.....My mother has fifteen of them but unfortunatelly we are all the way in Australia
Have you tried looking into classifieds (paper/internet etc) asked petshops etc?
Hope you find some soon !!
Good luck with your search! |

Yeah...and I've always wanted to visit USA...wanna exchange homes for a while...heh...heh..
Well lets see, I'll try and list the parrots that I see on a daily basis here where we live, red-rumps (i also have pics of these on my piczo page "rainbow feathers" - is here one of the top sites) SC cockatoos - they are everywhere and geez they make a racket, lots of rosellas, yellow-tailed cockatoos, lots of rainbow lorikeets, lots of galahs and thats all that comes inm to my head at the moment...different parts of Oz have different birds. My daily prayer is, that one of these birds decides to like me, land on my hand and happily come home with me
Re the classifieds etc. do any reputable breeders offer to freight their birds??? If all else fails, you could do that?? As long as you trust the breeder and know you are getting your moneys worth???
Breeders here do it, one is selling a sunnie inc freight for oz $350...I'm thinking of getting one.
Re the parrots in the wild, would you agree that no matter how beautiful parrots look at home, wild parrots in their natural surroundings just beat all else....they take my breath away!!!!! |
