hey their every one this is Rico my yellow naped amazon............he is not a tame bird as yet because I orignally got him with another amazon as apair which I was going to breed them ......but then I sold the female and keep the male.....He will take food from my hand but...apart from that he is use to my hand going in and out of his cage......he will say his name and a few other words........I would really love to tame him.

Very good question Kat! I'm curious too.
From what I've heard about male Amazons, they can get very aggressive during mating times when a female is around. So I'm wondering if he may be a bit more friendly to people without the female there?
