Hi! I'm new here & am looking very forward to getting to know other members here who share a love for birds, as well as other animals.
I currently live with a 14 year old cockatiel, a 5 yr old macaw, a 2 yr old senegal & a 3 yr old orange wing amazon who just joined our family 3 weeks ago.
I also share my life with a 12 yr old Australian Shepherd & 2 14 yr old cats.
My birds filled the "empty nest" after my kids grew up & moved away!

welcome to jamrock birds top site list..... I am rasta_lovebird aka janseenie......I am looking forward to seeing you a round here often as you can.........I am own by many birds which are lovebirds ,cockatiels,budgies, finches,doves,fancy pigeons.pair of sun cunure and Indian ringneck parakeets.......... my jamaican amazon parrot name ZIGGY,a pearl cockatiel name LEE_LEE,yellow naped amazon parrot name RICO, my dog JAKES, my cat CINDY and a small tank of Fish.

Wow! You sure have quite a large & varied flock :D ! That must keep you pretty occupied, huh?
I sure wish I had the space & proper place to have many birds.

Cathy..........birds... birds.... I which I could have a couple more birds to my collection..........but as soon as i get back on track I will be adding more species of bird to my collection...... I just love birds from as long as i can remenbered........ i alway have some kind of BIRDS around me........ ... but in time you might get the space where you can hav more birds.......hope to catch up with you over by PICZO........ :)

No, sadly, I'm pretty sure any new birds will not be in my future  My hubby "absolutely" put his food down 2 birds ago, & I know I've got to respect his wishes too, as he's not nearly as crazy about birds, or any other "pets" as I am.
He is hoping to retire someday & do some traveling, perhaps buy an RV, & that just isn't easy with a lot of animals.
Soooo ... for now I'm happy!
You are very lucky tho & I can imagine you are surrounded by lovely colors & sounds nearly every waking moment!

WELL I guess you hav to respect is whiches..... but you can never now what the furture will brings.......... as they say God works in mysterious ways......... all i can say give the ones you hav now all the loves they need....... and if it is god will for you to hav another bird or pet it will happen only time will tell.......... maybe the hubby will come around soon.
