I'm glad you like it & hope it'll give you some good ideas!
My hubby once tried making one of the "atoms" from electical conduit as instructed on that site, but I don't recommend using it, as my macaw was able to chew thru the top layer of whatever it is, to a layer of some kind of metal beneath, so it work for him, but maybe for a smaller bird.

I don't make a whole lot of toys for my birds. I've tried, but am not very good at it Embarassed I've strung things like popcicle sticks, beads, straws & stuff, & the little birds do like them, but mostly I just buy toys I see on sale. My hubby keeps me well stocked with pieces of unfinished pine that he cuts into different shapes & drills holes into that I string up for my macaw to chew on, that's easy enough.
