Another Newbie :o)

Hi everyone! I'm very excited to be here and to get to know you all on here - kinda cute being a small forum (for now)...I feel kind of privelidged to be one of the "early birds" on here....or am I.
It's good to be chatting with people of the same interest!!
Well, my name's Katerina but Kat will do. I have three birds at the moment, a green cheek conure named Pinchy and two grass parrots (red-rumps) both males, named Hunter and Casey. I would also love to get a sun conure, a blue-fronted conure plus a few other types of conures, a violet IRN and a blue IRN, a black headed caique, a king parrot, a malabar, an eclectus pair...oh and the list goes on. I would also like to eventually be a hobby-breededeer with a few birds I already have in mind...but I will have to wait for that dream to come true, a little later down the track...hopefully.
I'm also getting a new puppy tomorow, a long haired black/tan german shepherd, already chose his name...George.....so I'm very excited about that.
I'm married, I'm 30 y.o., a mum of 3 young boys, I'm an enrolled nurse (but not working currently) and I just love animals, nature and peace!!!!

Hi Kat! Welcome here, it's good to have you!

I live with 4 birds - 14 yr old tiel Poppy, 5 yr old B&G macaw Manu, 3 yr old senegal Jennie & 3 yr old OW amazon Kewi.
I also have a dog named George, about 14 yrs old, he's an Australian Shepherd & such a good boy!

Hows life with Manu, I imagine you would have some very beautiful feathers for collection...ooooh, especially Manu's blue feathers!! I'm feather crazy lol

I have 6 birds.

Jimmy-->orange wing tipped amazon
Benny--CAG
Robby and Billy-->Lorikeets
Rosy-->lovebird

I also have 2 dogs
Jake-->german shepherd
Sunny-->jack russel

And 2 german shepherds we look after that are guard dogs at the shop my hubby works at...names are Max and Cooper.

LoL Kat! Yes, I imagine you have your hands full with your George right now. I remember how hyper young puppies can be, especially if there are also young kids in the house :D I kind of miss those puppy years - UNTIL my son brings his young Britney Spaniel & 7 yr old daughter for a visit - YIKES Shocked

It's always fun tho.
